This painting has a dark, soothing evening mood. With the suggestion of a party, fireflies, or city lights glimmering in the reflection. It has the feeling of seeing something from a distance, quiet, even when you know it's loud. Hushed as the forest sleeps. The lights are like a beacon in the roiling dark greens and blues.
This painting and its mate, "Ripple," provide an otherworldly escape into color, movement, and mark-making. They can be purchased separately, or together as a diptych.
