Faded in Sun

This painting has been a few weeks in the making. I took some progress shots along the way and made them (the technical genius that I am) into a small video of sorts. Enjoy.

Painting again

After two weeks of drawing it was nice to get back to painting today. I’ve had these images in my mind for weeks, so it was a relief to get the chance (and have the energy) to turn them into paintings:

Quilted Lake Day 3: Art vs. Aches and Pains

In between sessions of applying Tiger Balm to my back and lying on the floor I managed to get a few hours of work done on “Quilted Lake” today. I’m very pleased to report the win here.

Today’s tally:  Art = 1, Aches and Pains = 0

I dare not tell you the tallies from previous days this week… and I was hoping to accomplish a lot more work than I was able to today, but we shan’t think of that. If pain or any other issue slows you down but doesn’t stop you completely then you win… so focus on the win! Booyah.
